Trent D. Morris is a Managing Director and Head of Credit Portfolio Trading & Optimization at Wells Fargo, where he oversees strategic initiatives to enhance the performance of the Corporate & Investment Bank’s loan portfolio. He joined Wells Fargo in January 2025 following an extensive career at JP Morgan.  With over 30 years of experience across trading, markets, risk, technology, and operations, Trent has held roles in liquidity management, interest rate swaps, credit and rates trading, and credit portfolio management.  Growing up on military bases and relocating frequently instilled in him a strong sense of adaptability, resilience, and relationship-building—qualities that shape his approach to Global Finance.  Trent holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from the University of Delaware and earned his MBA while working full-time at JP Morgan. He lives on Manhattan’s Upper East Side with his Irish wife and their two daughters and enjoys time at their home in Ireland.
