Myles McCormick is the Financial Times’ US economics correspondent, covering shifts in the world’s biggest economy and the impact of policy on American businesses and consumers. He is based in Washington, DC. Previously he was the FT's Houston correspondent, reporting on the oil and gas industry and wider Texas economy, and an energy correspondent based in New York. He joined the FT in London in 2018.
