Ben Walker
Ben is the head of Aon Reinsurance Solutions’ Global Credit Team which combines Aon’s reinsurance expertise across multiple classes of credit risk. He has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years and has spent the last 15 years working at Aon. Ben has worked with the GSEs and US Private Mortgage Insurers since the post-crisis inception of credit risk transfer and was integral to development of the market for mortgage reinsurance. Ben continues to work with financial institutions and insurers to structure and place capital and risk transfer solutions for credit risks. Ben has a masters degree in Applied Statistics from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science and Economics from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
